Browser Extension Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the RugInspect browser extension handles information. It applies to the extension. Websites opened through its links are separate services.
What the extension does
RugInspect analyzes Solana token contract addresses entered by the user and displays available token metrics, analysis scores and on-chain risk signals.
Information sent for analysis
When you request a scan, the extension sends the entered token contract address to the RugInspect API at bagvyr-api.megafunhousetv.workers.dev. The API retrieves and processes token information to provide the requested analysis.
A token contract address identifies the token being analyzed. The extension does not ask for your personal wallet address, wallet balance or transaction history.
Local storage
The extension stores the last successfully scanned token contract address locally in your browser. It uses this address to prefill the input when you reopen the scanner. This is not a complete search history.
You can remove the locally saved address by clearing the extension's local data or uninstalling the extension.
Network requests and token images
Requests to the RugInspect API are processed by our hosting infrastructure and data providers as needed to deliver the analysis. Network requests expose technical information, such as your IP address, to the receiving server.
Token images may load directly from third-party image hosts or public content gateways. Those hosts receive the corresponding image request and may process technical request information under their own privacy policies.
Browser access
The extension does not read the contents of other browser tabs, collect browsing history or monitor your activity on other websites. It does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts in the extension package.
Wallets and transactions
The extension does not connect to your wallet, request private keys or seed phrases, sign transactions, execute trades or access your funds.
Use of information
Information handled through the extension is used to provide and operate its token analysis functionality. We do not sell user data, use it for unrelated advertising or use it to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
External links
If you open the RugInspect website or Telegram bot, your interaction with those services is separate from your use of the extension.

We may update this policy when the extension or its data handling changes. The date above identifies the latest update.
